Rather nice of fate to do this. . .
Starting school again in the fall (finishing up my bachelor's) I'm no longer going to be able to work at the door shop. So happens that the person they're getting to replace me has a 2 foot long ponytail. He is hispanic, and as such has black hair that absolutely shines. The other day he took off his ballcap to expose a large bald spot on the back of his head, but he wasn't ashamed of it.
Just something nice I thought I'd share.
While we're sharing longhair sightings I went to the Kimberton Fair, just walking distance from here, and on a few occasions caught sight of a kid maybe 14 with a hat on and long hair that reached his shoulders comming from out of the hat, combed behind the ears. His friend also had longish hair, perhaps three inches allround, maybe four. Then another kid of my age had hair down past his shoulders. This has only furthered my desire to grow my hair. I'll think about progress pictures but my mom's digital camera ist kaput!
