yesterday i bought asda skin hair and nail vitamins from asda in the uk have any of you guys tried hair vitamins do they work???
thanks Stephstar
Hi Stephstar,
I take those vitamins everyday. My experience with them is that I believe it increases your hair growth very very slightly, not enough to really make a difference though. I have a dry scalp normally but after taking HS&N,I've noticed that after around 20 days of taking them, I can go less days between washes as the scalp oils get secreted quicker which is good and bad. My nails grow about 5 times faster than normal, I can definately say it speeds your nail growth, as well as making them extreamly tough, damn toenails! :P
thanks for the replies guys especially surferdude it good to know someone has taken the brand im trying my hair is around mid back but it doesent grow long arghh i want it waist lengh shitz ah well i hope it grows healthier and the nails being stronger cool
ps wolfeyes i clicked on your pick you look like a movie star in the pic on the left
pps im not gay you just look cool LOL
Lol thanks man :)
Yeah, took them for a while when I started growing - doesn't make it grow any faster, but makes sure your body has the right ingredients for healthy hair and nails.
Your hair will grow in good condition, so all you have to do is keep it that way :)

I don't take any specific hair vitamins. I want to try out Hair Formula 37, but it's too expensive for me.
Now, I just take a multivitamin plus 6 brewers yeast tablets daily.
Brewers yeast has a lot of different b-vitamins and they should be good for a lot of stuff, including hair.
I'm not really sure if they make any difference (I don't think my hair grows particularly fast, but maybe it does. I haven't found a very good way of measuring the growth yet)
