I think it is quite an acheivement, especially since it is down to my Mid Back. It never shows the true length unless I wet it though, but it is also looking real long dry. Yay for me :) I am happy, and can't wait to see how long it gets by year 3 and beyond.

Thanks for celebrating with me. How long is your hair now Luckskind? Do you also have to get trims? just wondering because you are longer into hair growth than me.
I will be at the 2 1/2 years mark in 4 days.
Great milestone, Dwayne. Two years seems to be sort of a make or break point, if you make it there, you're probably gonna keep going, so congratulations. I'm coming up on one year myself, struggling with the awkward stage, whenever I do I think to myself about how great it's gonna look after two years.

Thanks man, I will get some more pics soon :) Wow and nice you are almost over that awkward stage too. I think my awkward stage was fun and I played with my hair alot just to get over the silly look of it :) I remember when I had an undercut 4 years ago the awkwardness was reverse such as the Mushroom style looked alot better from how it looked when it was long (Both Undercut and Mushroom cut are YUCK lol) That is why I cut it to start over hehe and grow it all out. And here I am 2 years into "Full" growth. This is the longest my hair has ever been and to be so tall and with it down to my mid-back gives me alot of confidence into my goal (An inch from the ground or beyond)

Congrats Dwayne! 2 years is quite a milestone, in fact now my bangs are past my chin and I can tie a comfortable ponytail, its the next quantative milestone in my calander.
So yeah: "Yay for Dwayne!"
Nice one Dwayne! Can't wait til I reach the same place. Your hair looks in great condition, and don't worry about it not looking it full length - I think completely straight hair can look a bit dull sometimes - some waves and curls and kinks give it life.

Congrats, Dwayne! Your hair must grow fast, considering it's at mid-back after two years. I'm at 1 year 8 months and am nowhere near there. Color me envious.
As a sidenote, I noticed your tag about being Cherokee. Where are you from? Just curious, as I'm in Western NC, and we have a large Cherokee population here, what with the reservation nearby.

Dude we live really close. I am a Carolinian myself, Columbia SC well now I live in West Columbia, South Carolina. My relatives are from Georgia which of course most of them in Cherokee Nation which I still wouldn't consider it being apart of GA.
