This is a forum full of dream-men!! I dont get why a lot of guys freak out about the idea of growing their hair. Are they afraid they will turn into a homosexual if they do?

*is*, however, about encouraging long hair on men. But the vast
majority of participants, from what I've seen, love long hair on women. It's a win/win situation.
Actually, right now, most men in the developed world probably think they're not true "men" if they grow their hair long, and that every long-hair style would make them look feminine. They just haven't taken much of a look at costume/period plays where male characters often have long hair and, to most of the audience, look every bit the male.

The main problem is to get involved in a society with such a close mind about anything that is not "usual". There are number of comment about our hairs when we decide to let them grow - no matter how we decide to wear them.
It take some courage to face that especially when the comments are coming from your boss...
I appreciate your coming in that group, I have the impression that women are often more open to marginality.

It is not my site, but I don't see why not. It is nice to know what other's think about long hair on men. There are so many stereotypes that I think you might be surprised how many of them are not true. It is really kind of fun to talk about it, but to be honest - I would grow it anyway, I always have. I like nice hair, and it is, admittedly, a "little" fun to show off such a wonderful feature in a "sometimes" prudent society, but this is not the reason I grow it. I think and have experienced the fact that most people will except long hair on men. But, it seems they have to get to know you a little first, or at least know some other man with long hair with similar virtues to break any misconception that seem to have been wrongly made.
