One, my hairline on my neck is strange. Many of you know that I shaved my neck too much and am trying to grow my neck hair back. But it still grows strangely. In the middle of my neck, the hair grows down to right above the earlobe line. But on either side of my neck (closer to the ears) it grows all the way down to right at the bottoms of my ears.
Make any sense the way I described it? Sorry.
Anyway, the hair in that last area desribed (sides of neck) is only like 1 inch long now. Waiting to see how long it will get.
Was wondering if my hairline is too odd. And when that side neck hair gets long enough, will it feel weird when I tie my hair back? Will it feel like there's a "hollow spot"? Does anyone else have a neckline like this?

This seems like an incredibly high hairline, your hairline should be down beneath your ears at the middle of your neck.
Though its not uncommon for a neckline to be higher, just to the side of the middle of your neck and be lower towards the sides.
My neck line has kind of a up and down zig-zag shape:

It kind of come up a little just before the middle piece, if you see what I mean... It doesn't affect a ponytail because by the time your hair is long enough to tie in a tail, layers of hair from above will have grown over your neckline and it'll not make the slightest bit of difference.
