Not sure if long hair will suit me or not, been growing it for 3-4 months now without a cut, its into the big-hair stage and im looking a bit 70s haha, the thing is my hair is very thick and naturally very blonde, not sure if this will look good on me as I am quite muscular aswell (i work out alot) and every time I picture myself with long hair I see the blonde guy behind the bar of the club near the end of that film Detroit Rock City hahaha, what do u all think?

Hey when your hair was down to that joint thing in the back of your neck, the one that pops out when you look down did your hair in the back kinda curl upwards? mine does but I'm blond too and wanna know if i could grow my hair like dave mustaine's a famous rocker if you want to see a picture of him go to google, go under images then type in r_davemu.jpg i'll try to upload a pick of me

We have similar hair type, mine is just brown. Its nice to see yours looking so good, it encourages me.

I can't see any reason why your hair wouldn't look great......but you do have to put in your time and are looking at nearly 2 years for the results. This is the difficult part of it all for so many guys.............the "Awkward Stage."
But, when long enough all just seems to take care of itself and falls into place automatically.
I have yet to see a "bad look" on anyone except: the ones that don't take care of their hair and are filthy to begin with. I dare say that even if "they" were washed-up and polished all would look like a success.
So, just let it grow and you will be well rewarded.
Just give it some time, check out salon books for a kind of style that suits you (while it grows out), and maybe check in with a friend or two who will simply tell you the truth as to how you look. If all else fails, go brown! Of course, many of us born "brown" wish we were blonde, so go-figure that one, eh? Just hang in, bro, and enjoy the experience. And, if you're as buff as you say you are, no one is going to mess with you anyway, right? Josh
Your hair should look fine long. A muscular build is a major plus, and will enhance how good your blonde hair will look when long. Can't wait 2 years to see the results? You may want to try a photo manipulating program to paste an image of long blonde hair onto a photo of yourself to get a preview of how good it will look. Absalom
