Picture Purged
Here it is wet, I'll post a dry pic later. I still can't decide whether to dye my hair my natural color or just let it grow out. I'm really scared of dying it because it could turn out something even worse. I'm ugly in this pic, I know. =O

Here's another pic. My roots look so ugly! I'm really in a dilemma on what to do. =(

Here's another one.
A great photo of you to be sure.............and the "roots" at least to my eyes are 100% from "ugly."
The hair looks fantastic in the photo.
(Mee thinks you are too hard on yourself.) Oh well, if a "perfectionist" I surely well know where you are coming from. It IS a curse to be sure. I know............I have ALWAYS been a "perfectionist" in my field.
I really appreciate the kind words Justin! =) It's nice to know there's mature and kind people out there! I think I might do some research and figure the best salons I could go to and ask advice. My cousin specializes in coloring hair and a few other cosmetic type stuff and she might know what to do. Thanks! =)
Hey Blonde-
That is a GREAT idea to start with! Your cousin sounds like an extra special IDEAL person to confide in and give advice. If it were myself, I wouldn't be able to wait (to put my mind at ease) to have a conferance with her. She probably knows all the "tricks" in the books.
Then, after you hear what she has to say do the Salon route of asking questions. When you hear enough of the "same," it is THEN that you will know for sure what to do.
Again, from the photos I have seen your hair looks terrific!
Justin~
I think your roots look great! the natural color showing through works better with your complexion.
Hey Blonde-
You are NOT ugly in the slighest and despite all that has gone on with your hair it looks terrific! :-)
Solution #1.) If it were myself, I would at this point let it grow-out. (The contrast as it grows will actually be rather nice.) Later perhaps a trim now and then until your natural hair colour takes over as the "trimmed hair" is gradually removed.
Solution #2.) Go to a really GOOD Salon and have them colour it professionally for you from now on if Blond is what you desire the most. Don't try and ever do it yourself again. But fear not.............the Gals do this all the time and seem to get away with just about everything! Hair is hair. I doubt you'll be any different.
Good luck in whatever decission you decide upon.
Justin~
Thanks for the advice Justin. I think it's best if I just let it grow out and trim off the bleached parts, like every three months or so. Because the bleached part of my hair has been through A LOT! I can remember how much it's been through this year. With the bleachings and then I had to go and use that relaxer, very dumb idea. Now it's pretty damaged, I think more dye to put on top of it would be a huge mistake so I'm just going to let it grow. =)
Thanks again!
You are very welcome Blonde-
Perhaps (just a suggestion) don't act in complete haste. Go to several Salons 1st to get opinions............and by so doing give yourself a 2 week "thinking period." After enough "opinions" of the damage you will be armed with info that may actually come as a surprise! ie: your hair ISN'T really all that damaged.............you just never know.
Yes, I agree that to just let it grow would be the best situation................but what of your own REAL wants? Blond Hair? (Just a thought from an excentric person, that's all.)
Oh yes.............about the earlier "I'm Ugly" comment. I doubt that there are precious few humans that are ever satisfied with their looks. Join the club. When seen through the eyes of another it is always a different story. Guess it's just Human Nature to be hardest on ourselves. So, Ugly? Hardly!
My best to you.
Justin
Hey Blonde!
I think you look great! I don't think dying your hair would be the right way to go....just let it grow out and be patient...
Thee Longhaired Gal
I don't know what YOU see when you look in the mirror
or at your pics, but your hair is a nice color with a great texture.
Good Luck on your Journey!
Is it just me or do you think Blonde should start Smiling more in his pictures. Everyone of his pictures I have seen makes him look upset.
Perhaps it is yea. (Blonde appears to look well to everyone else that has posted thus far.
Ahhh. You need a little more self esteem, my friend. Your roots are fine. You're not ugly. And I like your hair. And the color. But if you want to dye it again, better cough up some money and go see a pro. And a little ego boost for you: you look sort of like my friend. And he's really cute.
Love,
Kiat T.
Lookin good as ever, man!
You're really getting length now, and the roots look grand - it's more natural than lighter roots, and your natural colour looks good. I take it you're growing it out fully then? My girlfriend has nearly finished growing hers out and I know it's quite a long ordeal, so congrats for sticking at it.
wolfeyes
blonde with an "e" refers to women with blonde hair.
blond without an "e" refers to men with blond hair.
This is simply a fact of the English language.
I don't care, I spell blonde only one way. It's the name I chose and I'm keeping it that way.
If I were you, I'd just let it grow.
I was in your position once, and decided to dye it back, it lasted for a few months until the colour had faded and I needed to dye it again. My hair got pretty messed up by this.
Looking good! Self imagage is always iffy my friend until you learn to look past the skin and into the soul, and from what I can tell from your posts, you are a beautiful person. The skin fades over time, the beauty of the soul remains constant.
Find out where the pain is coming from, that your eyes are reflecting in the mirror that is causing you a negative self image and go from there. Never and I mean NEVER call yourself ugly. No human being on the planet is ugly... Only their actions and souls.
Make this your mantra. If I am good on the inside, then the outside will reflect it to myself.
But then again, self imagage is another off topic discussion that I guess we won't get into, because everyone hates off topic here *roll eyes*
Yay! lets support long hair but not the people it's attached too....
Peace and be well!
