Look at this! I saw this listing on eBay from a guy with awesome hair. If what he says in the description is true, he already cut it off. He looked good with it, though.
Yikes! If I had had what it took him so many years to obtain.............NO EMPLOYER would have made me cut them to get "the job," even if for a million dollars! But then again, I personally have always marched to the beat of my own drum. Happiness within for myself far outweighs jobs, profits or getting rich. I notice he was unable to sell his locks. Let's hope this "new job" works-out for him and he isn't "canned" within the 1st week.
Wow, extremely long dreads that I'm somewhat disturbed to hear were cut for a job.
Those dreads were VERY nice too. Really suited the man, if I do say so.
I wish him best.
Just a quick word of warning to be very careful buying stuff over the net - a good friend of mine tried to but a decent 3ccd camera over eBay, but it went off auction.
He got in contact with the person, agreed on a price, sent the money, then was told they'd found another buyer at a better price.
They said they'd wired the money back into his account... and that was over a week ago - still no sign.
We're talking over a grand!
eTheives.
Just be careful... and never send money before recieving the item.
I agree that was a bit silly of him.

I wouldnt expect to see that money :( I think you're friend got scammed I hear of that one pretty often. I only buy stuff on ebay from people with loads of good feedback, its a good place sometimes :)
you cant get something without paying for it first. if you do things right both buyers and sellers are protected from thieves. your friends experience wasnt through ebay, it was a private transaction outside of ebay. that was his mistake, you cant really say that reflects negatively on ebay. his only option now is to go to small claims court.
I agree. eBay is a good system. The buyer made a fatal mistake in going off ebay to make the purchase. Using ebay and paying with a credit card through eBay's online service (Paypal) is fast, reliable, and doubly safe, since paying with a credit card through Paypal gives you protection both through your credit card company and through Paypal.
Wrong. Some customers have found out the hard way you can't
challenge paypal transactions like a credit card allows you to.
Paypal is not a credit card, it can't accept transaction
challenges.
If you're going to purchasing via E-Bay, then the bst protection that I believe is paying via PayPal, a third-party settlement processor, although E-Bay owns the company. Also, if you pay via Visa/MC, etc., you should be protected via bankcard laws, (USA), to dispute any charges to your account. If you don't know the person whom you're dealing with, it's probably in your best interest never to wire money. Hope this helps. - John
I think its bogus because one pic shows farther above his belt than the other. I would say its a very good wig. Or two.
I would want to meet that man and see for myself if it was true hair. To me it just looks too perfect compared to other dreads I've seen but who knows maybe he takes care of them better than these other guys.
