I've done two days of work experience at the Selby Times newspaper and no-one's had a go at my hair yet. I think it's because I wore a ponytail, and plus my hair looks better when I'm not wearing a buttoned shirt.

Congratulations - is this Selby, North Yorkshire? I worked for an East Yorkshire newspaper for 2 years and nobody ever critiised my ponytail - in fact one of the girls in advertising was inclined to come over and play with it. There again, I was sitting next to the fax machine.
