It's like why kill time when there is time to live... and one of those most wonderful things in life is beautiful long hair on men. I love to run my fingers through a man's long hair. I like how it feels when it falls on my face. I like to watch it blowing in a gentle breeze. And the sun glistening on the highlights. There are zillions reasons to elaborate about long hair on a man. I wish all men had long hair. Is not the purpose for hair in the first place to be an adornment of ones body and identity? If so, then it seems like a man who buzz cuts his hair has no reason for adornment, or has lost his identity, and a man with "any" length of hair is in some way adorning himself, and serving his identity. So, for a man with "any" length of hair to discriminate against a man with "long hair," it is contradictory. Adornment is adornment, right? I just like long hair on a man more than I like short hair. Maybe for a man to have long hair or accept long hair on other men,it takes a man with a good sense of creativity who is in touch with his higher self, and who has the guts to act upon it, even in the face of contradiction and unjust discrimination. May long hair adorn men for eternity...

I'd second that last one too and I have another point to add about hair; That is it is like a frame which adorns the picture it surrounds. Long hair then is like an elegant and beautiful freame adorning a picture.

Recently finished a novel about Ancient Greece called "Gates of Fire". In it, a character comments on why the warriors of Sparta wore their hair long. The quote is something like this;
"Long hair is the only thing that can make a handsome man more good-looking, and an ugly one more terrifying. Besides, it's free!"

Is that why prisons want to cut convicts' hair, because the convicts are more terrifying with long hair? I suppose that society is AFRAID of long hair, because it seems more TERRIFYING on criminals!
But "good guys" get the "privilege" of growing their hair long, so that they can be more handsome.
I am a very big fan of men with long hair and i think more men should have beautiful long locks!I am very sad because i dont know anyone with long hair so i have been single for quite a while but thats how life goes right?
