Hey... well, another month has passed us by once again - though granted I had to post my July progress about halfway through July.
But here's the update :)
Can't wait to fit a ponytail - hair bothers my eyes and ears a good bit these days, hence the topknot post earlier.
Otherwise all is still well - condition is grand, and the greys aren't yet dominating :)

Condition definitely is looking grand! Is there any chance of a website or something, to show the transformation? How long have you been growing it now? How old is the mini photo that appears above your posts?

Hey man, just got back from holidays, and wanted to ask a question.
How many inches of hair did you have in December, your starting point? Was December your last haircut? I thought you started from very near bald?
Hey man. Yeah, I started from really short - probably about an inch, which is as short as my shaver would go. The picture I took was from new year's eve, so it had grown a fair bit by then - I know hair doesn't actually grow faster if you cut it, but when mine is shorter, it *seems* to grow much faster.
My last cut was December 2nd, but I did do that trim on the back and sides in like Feb or something just to stop a future mullett.

I think I have been quite lucky through my awkward stage, as much as I've cursed it. Don't think it went this well last time - but then I hadn't a clue about changing style or anything... I was probably too afraid to change anything.

Lol, wish I couldn't see them. I'm glad they don't show up in my pictures, but my hair's shot with grey all over now... I remember when I was 18 and could count them :)

Wow, looks great! Your hair seems really healthy. I'm sure the jojoba oil helps. I have been using carrot oil of all things :). Besides the carrot oil, there are other oils as well.
Keep it up. Also, either you skin is clearing nicely from your recent exacerbation, or you continue to be a master with Photoshop.

I love your hair. Seriously. You make me want to cut my hair, which is not a good thing. Your photo looks like something one would expect to see on a page in a magazine. I've noticed that earlier photos (if I remember correctly) of you were also very well shot and lighted. Are you a model by any chance?

Wish I could say I was. The only reason my pictures are like that is because I'm an artist, and like my photos to reflect it - take them all myself with my digital camera.

Sometimes I do want to have short hair. Honestly speaking, I actually ideally PREFER myself with short hair (not short short, more like... chin length), but I tried and I could NEVER get my hair the way I wanted it to be so I just grew it out instead and now I've gotten too attached to cut it.

You really do have SMOOTH, STRAIGHT hair! This is probably
the easiest hair type to grow long.
And it will also show up the progress you are making better
than curly hair would.

I'm feeling better. My social life has improved dramatically. Not sure I'm ready or ever will be ready for a relationship again, but at least I have met someone nice that I like hanging out and spending time with. She's made a huge difference in how I feel these days.

This makes me think of some TV interviews I've seen of actor David Arquette over the past few months. I notice he has a tendency to constantly jerk his head sideways to throw the hair out of his eyes. That's in spite of his not really having long bangs, and actually rather short hair in general. I wonder if he developed a head-flipping motion in past years when his hair was much longer and it soon became a kind of bad habit or nervous reaction?
You're probably right - I've seen people doing that before.. doing something all the time can just become a habit - like smoking. Not all smokers smoke cos they enjoy every cigarette. Sometimes they just light up out of habit :)

When it came to David Arquette, his jerking his head was rather noticeable to me because he did it quite frequently, and he did it in spite of his bangs not really getting in his eyes. However, when a guy has a very legitimate reason for making that type of motion --- because his hair truly is long in the front --- I think it makes him look kind of (for want of better words) hip and cool. That's probably one reason lots of rock stars, going back decades, have grown their hair long, or guys in trendy fashion magazine ads often have bangs hanging over their face.
My bangs touch my lip and I have to *flip* my head to the side to get them out of my eyes. My hair's is very close to Wolfeyes length, and we've been growing almost the same time. Do you think I have a 'ligitimate' reason?
Well unlike some of the others, from time to time I'm not so sure how straight I am--but no matter, others' comments that you ought to be using your image to sell something is right on the money. I'm sure you'll look completely dandy the longer your hair gets. I'm impressed.
Hehe, don't know how much money I'd make out of my face unless I sold it to science research.

Your hair is of the "to die for type" and looks great! Yes, the hair in the eyes is a bother for a while and will soon be history. Glad the condition is so well.
Now for the "mystery" of the "Grey Hairs." 2 years ago before my hair was at it's present length of just 14" I also saw Grey intruding. But as the hair grew longer the grey isn't even noticable...........in fact my hair looks a very dark brown! I don't know why this happened, and in an earlier post to me Luckskind said the same happened to him.
The Ponytail achievement must be the most wonderful event of all when reached..............but of course it takes nearly 2 years. However, once there you have made it...........and man, is it ever worth it!

I presently have some VERY current photos of last week of my hair in my Digital Camera "ready to go" and I hope you can soon see for yourself. (The Disc that came w/camera so that uploading is possible does nothing however and 1 Computor person (helper) after another
STILL hasn't been able to make it over to my place and do it for me.) The place I bought the Camera, (Office Depot) tells me it will have to be done manually..........a task far beyond what I can do with a computor.
Just wait until you get your hair into a tail. It will be dynamite! You will never believe how happy you will feel........and of course it is at that point that compliments begin coming in from strangers "out of the blue." Funny how these "strangers" who might have scoffed at one time suddenly do an about face once the hair calms down from the so-called "Awkward Stage."
Hope you are keeping well also..............and done w/hospitals for many a year in the future.

Hey Wolfeyes - looks great as usual, I think your hair just gets better and better, the condition is excellent and there is no sign of the awkward stage.
Actually I think you should give serious thought to modelling, you have a great overall look, I could imagine seeing your face in high street windows, places like Next or Footlocker.

Don't think I could ever contemplate the modelling thing... it's not really something I'd be comfortable doing, and I've never been that confident in my looks. I'm comfortable looking the way I do, but I prefer to remain invisible :)
