If you had the choice of having hair like any other two people ON THIS BOARD (please, keep it to people who post here, no Kurt Cobains or anything like that) who would you choose and why?
I'll start it off:
1)Hair Religion, because of it's smooth texture
2)Absolom, because if his incredible length
I love your idea for a topic. Let me be the first (I hope) to reply.
1) Sorted, to see if blondes really have more fun (so I hope he's a natural blonde). I saw the new Dexter's Lab episode (where Dee Dee bleached Dexter's usual red hair with 'Super Blonde' and Dexter wakes up totally unlike his normal uptight self and was treated with free stuff everwhere he went) and now I want to try out the blonde thing for myself.
2) Either Mesmerized or That "Ball" Guy, to see what it's like to have curly/wavy hair. Sometimes straight hair can be boring, don't you think? And I said 'either' because I seriously think the two guys have the same kind of hair and even LOOK alike. Has anyone else ever noticed this? I hope you two are not too offended by my saying this.

I'd have to say my choices would be (and not necessarily in this order):
1) Brian - because of the silky smooth texture
and
2) Resonance - because his hair is just simply friggin awesome!!!

But probably:
1. Sorted's, because I envy his neck hairline.
2. Victor's, becuase I think it's red.

Wolfeyes has said he uses jojoba oil I think.
Well I have to have a bath every morning at about 6am to keep my skin under control, so my hair gets washed in oilatum emollient, then straight after it gets washed with aussie miracle moist shampoo and conditioner, brushed back with a wide tooth brush, and dries naturally. If it feels dry, I use a drop or two of jojoba oil. That's it!
Talking about shampoo reminded me of 2 quotes worth remembering:
1) "Champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham friends."
2) "Don't settle for shampoo - demand the real thing."
Is the Kurt Cobain goal really that common?
1) Resonance - His hair is thick and very long, which is similar to the hair that Vogg has. I don't suit fine hair which is what I have, so this guy's hair would be great on me.
2) Redleader - I never knew curly hair could look so good. While I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't suit curly hair, it just looks so damn awesome that I'd make it suit me!

I would want EdG's hair for its thickness and length.
Though I prefer just mine, if I had to choose, I'd have to say either Redleader (almost identical type as mine, just a lot longer), or Michael Odle (the man has some awesome hair).

The most stunning hair I've ever seen. Long hair looks awesome on him. I would kill for that kind of hair ;)
Incredibly difficult question - so many guys here have fantastic hair, and many have been an inspiration to me while growing my own.
If forced I would have to choose:
1) Sorted - He just always takes great care of his hair and it's always in first class condition... I guess it's also cos he looks so happy with long hair.
2) Matt R. - I love the 'Jesus look' - and again, hair is great condition, well looked after, and he just looks like he loves his hair long.
By the way, if anyone's feeling left out, please don't - I think you all have great hair, and this was a really tough choice to make :)

Great topic William !! It motivated me to look through all 91 of us on the Directory of Users...Gosh ! What a handsome lot we are !! HA! Seriously, there are 91 delightful and distinctive looks. I suppose individuality is one of the prime reasons for us to grow our hair long
As far as picking two that I would prefer for myself, if you eliminate the two obvious contenders: WILLIAM and WHITE TAIL…hehmmm, I would really love living under WHTVIKINGS'S long, straight blond hair or MICKAEL ODLE'S Mane of Silk !!
I would choose either Sorted's hair's characteristics (mine never looked like his at that length. I looked like a Beatle until the day it grew down my shoulders and onto my back), or Resonance, because his hair is just... freaking "wow." It's perfectly straight, with a grand length, and it compliments his facial features.
Thanks, guys, for all the compliments. =o I wasn't expecting that anyone would say they want hair like mine. Let me just say that "Trust me, you always want what you can't have, and right now, you don't want my hair!"

A Linux Longhair
First of all, I am happy with the hair that I have. Thus said, if I "had" to make a choice it would be either Resonance or Michael Odle. Both are my all-time favorites in length, colour and texture.
Michael Odle's hair in about 6 months when it's fully waist length. Either that or EdG's like it is right now.
Absolom's might be interesting to try for a few days, but I don't think I want it that long.
I like my own hair enough thank you. I'm only growing my hair to shoulder length. The front and the back, I want to look like a medivil knight.
1) Michael Odle - long, thick, soft
2) Brian - long, thick, soft, ready to be touched! :-)
Boy, this is difficult! I don't think I can narrow it down to two specific members of this board. Rather, there are people here whose hair I've admired for different reasons. Before I divulge my top two choices, even though we're limiting it to people on this board, I have to point out a couple of things.
First, it's not so much if I could have anyone else's hair - for me it's "what kind of hair would I really love to have had" - and the answer there is what I call "Anime hair" - that really really straight and thick black hair that many Asian men have, specifically as styled in anime design. If not that, then curly in the William Katt (Greatest American Hero) or Adam (Counting Crows) Duritz mold. And a rich, saturated color. The only thing I dislike about my hair is its lack of opinion on both the style and color questions. (My hair grows straight to my shoulders then gets all curly, and it's this mousy non-descript brown. Ugh.)
So - on this board... the two people whose hair I really really admire are StanleyBey and ThatBallGuy. TBG because I'd love to try having long curly hair and especially those dreads you had - I loved those! And Stanley - you're possibly the only person I've ever come across who has more fun doing things with his hair than I have. You're practically a hero!
There are a many runners up - WolfEyes, Sorted, FinK, Gollan and more. But the more I think about it, it's Stanley and TBG whose hair I've most admired over the time I've been reading this board. Hats off (no pun intended) to you two!

are just plain awesome!
For me it would have to be:
1) Resonance, cos its just so amazingly awesome.
2) Brian, because of its silky straight texture.
I would choose wolfeyes too cos his hair looks great at any length, but I'm a little too attached to longhair to swap with him just yet. Though in about 12 months when his phenominal growth rate has caught me up I'll swap instantly. :-)
Give me Hair Religion's length. I don't think any of his pictures do justice to his length.
Give me Guitar Guy's thickness and fullness.
Throw in some of Jarkko's color.
You don't want MY hair -- it doesn't even grow to elbow length :-(

Both have hot hair, but for me length is the most important, the longer the better, therefore Ed G. wins for me.

We have some amazing hair on this board. One has to realize that we're in the 90th percentile of men's hair lengths.
Of course, I'd choose members with hair longer than mine. Absalom sets the standard for length along with Hair Religion and Victor.
In the less extreme category, Michael Odle has very nice hair and an excellent photo too. Resonance, Rokker, Tarikh, Tommy Turbo, Whtviking, and William - great job guys!
I'd like to add a special category for "he knows what to do with it" - Jarkko! Although he doesn't have a photo on the members page, Jarkko has the most amazing hair styles that I've seen on any person, man or woman.
I wouldn't mind trading places with any of you guys for a day!

Hey well I do like your hair. I like it that it is mostly straight, but tousled and not hanging like sheets. It's like a waterfall that hits your shoulders and makes waves.

I would have to say
1)Absalom...because of the length. The longer the length, the hotter it is. That is my goal, to follow in Absolom'S footsteps. Dont ever cut it Absalom, you are a inspiration.
2)Tie....Ed G, and Tampa longhair.
Ed G. has awesome length and nice hair and Tampa long hair has almost mid back length and plans on growing it to his butt. He looks hot too.
