I am getting sick and tired of people using this board to voice their political views and opinions. This is the Men's Long Hair Hyperboard...not the Left vs. Right Hyperboard.
I really enjoy checking out the posts, learning hair care tips from others, and giving advice and/or praise to all growers out there (especially when going thru the awkward stage). That's what this board is supposed to be about!
Politics has NO BUSINESS HERE, I don't care what anyone says. It's a much better board if some things just aren't shared. It takes so much away from the overall enjoyment of coming to this site...something that Victor has worked so hard to achieve!
If you don't like what's going on in your neck of the woods then go do something about it...protest, vote, whatever...just don't debate it here!

I merely post on those political posts because either I'm the center of contraversy or, well, "Man is a political creature." But I do wish this place would stick to what it says up top, MEN'S LONG HAIR.

I appreciate the offer but I have offered upon multiple occasions. If we are to have a peaceful termination of arguments then I await your answer.

i don't want to argue any further, it doesn't really matter who made the peace offer first, im just saying this is the end to it, you say you made the peace offer first, fine i accept the peace offer

Totally agree... also not everyone is from the US so it makes no sense to us anyway.
As a whole I agree with you, but there may occasionally be an exception (for example, the indian guy in prison who was forced to have a haircut by the judicial branch of government)
However, even in cases like this, the focus still isn't the government, but the hair issue.
Other things that I'd also like to see discussed less here are
1)Religion: You don't have to give up your beliefs (I didn't), but you don't have to discuss them here either.
2) sexual orientation. In the world you may be straight or gay, but here you are a longhair.
Actually, in the real world I am a longhair. Far more than any of that other stuff....
