Well I'm at 9 months. My only questions are I look at my photos from 9 months from 7. And in the 7 month pics I look a whole lot better. Should I get rid of the facial hair, or only get rid of the mustache. Advice appecriated

Kenneth,
In the 7 month photos you just look younger--quite a bit younger. I have had facial hair (beard, but for the last ten years or so, goatee) since I was 23 (44 now). I have a very young face. The facial hair has always made me look closer to my own age. Two years ago (at age 42) I shaved completely, and was thereafter asked for ID when purchasing alcohol in my local grocery store!
It's genetics, for which I am no grateful! Whether to keep the racial hair is an issue of whether you like it or not. Look in the mirror. Photos can distort. If you like what you see in the mirror, keep it! The nice thing about facial hair is that you can play around with various styles. Doesn't take long to grow out something worth keeping.

Well Kenneth congrats on getting this far, your bang in the middle of the Awkward Stage so don't expect your hair to be looking great.
Personally I'd keep the facial hair, it gives you a rugged look which will suit the awkward stage better than a clean shaven "preppy look".

You hair is looking great. You have a great color and some nice wave. Your hair is in such good shape that it is even more amazing that you are well into the awkward stage. You may be entering a period where your hair is difficult to style and generally misbehaves for a few months. After the awkward stage is over it will be easier to maintain. As for the facial hair, to each his own. I happen to like beards and moustaches. Yours looks fine and if you like it, I say keep it. Thanks for the update!
I think it suits you and gives you a more distinct look. You mustache is a little thin, so you may want to just sport the goatee. Hope this helps and keep up the great work.
