(I've been stuck inside all weekend with some type of bad cold....pro'lly bronchitus too. Joy. If this turns out to be long-winded then I apologize.)
I'd like to say Hello to everyone here. I'm new to the board. I'll be 34 this September and I'm growing my hair long again. I had long hair back in the late 80's but cut it due to work. I'm in the telecomm field and I figure, what the hell ...I'll try growing it again. What I see people wear (both hair and clothes wise) in the workdplace these days surprises me. I agree with those who say it's not what you wear or look like as long as the job gets done. These days things appear to be more relaxed than when I was growing up.
If I can get an old pic into the PC and a present one we can all have a good laugh. :) I always wanted to grow my hair long again. It's not been until now that I have the confidence and whatever else comes with age I guess to actually attempt it. It's great to see the pics here. I'm sure it helps those new to the realm of long hair, especially the younger folks, to feel better and confident about their wanting to try it. It's great this site and others like it exist. I've already learned much from you guys and I thank you for that. Well, time to do some work on my day off. See you on the board.
Hi, welcome to the board! I have only been a regular visitor of this board for a few months, but my entire haircare regime is based on what I have learned from fellow members. It really is a great place to learn and have fun discussion.
How long was your hair back in the day? What is your goal nowadays - any different to your previous longhair length? Welcome again and good luck with your journey to becoming a longhair once again!

I definitely agree with you, Matt. I've already learned a lot from this site alone. It's good to be among brothers that are there, have been there, or are going thru it, so it adds support to us getting underway with the adventure.

OK, just for this place I'll post a capture off an old video I converted to DVD. This was back around 88. NO comments about the shirt, alright. LOL! http://home.comcast.net/~aszablowski/me.jpg This was taken probably about 6 months to a year before I had to cut it off for work. I missed it since that day it was cut. Nowadays I'd like to hit that length again, if not slightly longer. I just gotta hang in there for the ride and see what happens.
