I caught an episode of HGTV's "Clean Sweep" the other night. The homeowners were a couple in their late 2os/early 30s. The husband had a nearly waiste-length sandy blonde ponytail. Some people might say he has a mullet, because the front and sides were cut like a early Beatles' hairstyle. In the second half of the show (the next day) he had his hair parted in the middle and combed back somewhat. It looked very good to me. Always a pleasure to see a middle class suburban husband/father with long hair.
I saw a young boy, oh I'd say 9 or 10, today in a local hypermarket with a very strange mullet! I was like OMG, he had blonde streaked highlights. Is this the way fashion is going. I don't think he's old enough to be individual with his choices yet, so I wonder what made him get, out of all cuts, a mullet!
Just look at the recent influx of mullets in football especially with the Spaniards! Francesc Fabregas has been getting alot of attention because of his mullet, whilst playing for Arsenal.
Have you seen the UK sci-fi comedy show "Red Dwarf"?
Dave Lister (Craig Charles) had a similar cut, it was a kind of ponytail/braid, with the front of his head shaved like a shorthaired person. (only his was dark in colour)
