Right now I have about 2.5 inches on top and 3/8 inch sides. I'm looking to grow my hair out longer. Sorry, I'm not looking for anything REALLY long, but I'd like to maybe try a short ponytail. My hair's naturally straight and brown, and I've been bleaching it to a really light (almost platinum) blond.
Any advice about growing it out?
Thanks...
The only advice here- don't get it cut for 6 months or so, then get any split ends trimmed. Find someone who will cooperate and not get scissor happy. Beware of professional stylists- there are good ones out there, but my experience is that most will chop your hair off despite the most explicit instructions. You might want to put away the bleaching stuff at least until you get to your desired length. Those chemicals are very hard on hair- and will become apparent to you as you grow yours out.
Do not apologize that you aren't going to grow it very long... the way you wear your hair is a form of self-expression. Don't try to please anyone but yourself.
youll definately wanna put away the bleacing stuff I used to put heavy
highlights in my straight brown hair and experienced alot of breakage
so I stopped and it grew thicker longer alot faster plus it wont feel like straw either.
