Hi All,
I just had to post this pic of Legolas's hair...
After seeing the movie Lord of The Rings, this was the only guy who stood out from the rest of the crowd (personally I think so) because of his braids on each side and ofcourse the fact that he had long blonde hair :o)
I don't really see so many men who has long hair out here wearing their hair like this...I find it a very nice style though...

Guys do look good in braids, though often they resist the notion. Braids can be very practical for keeping hair off the face and restraining it in general.

Being one of those kind of guys who hair falls about their face ("My Life Behind the Curtain"), restraining my hair is a common challenge. There are times I really want to wear my hair down, but I MUST do something about the hair growing from my temples or otherwise I end up like Cousin Itt.
Braiding my temples into a lock down the center gives me a practical way of wearing my hair down, while giving my a somewhat "dressy" appearance and overall, is not too different from the Legolas look.
Men's long wig hyperboard?
I was giving an example of a hairstyle, and in this case I used Legolas. It's got nothing to do with a wig...and the focus should be on the hairstyle rather than concentrating on the fact that all of them were wearing wigs in the film...and by this I would just like to point out, the subject is about the hairstyle that was used for Legolas and NOT about wigs...so don't change the subject please.

I think you are right, Legolas' hair is great! (Not only his hair :-) ) Unfortunately it is just a wig :-( But his style is great. I found a site with a description, how to braid your hair like his!
