hey all,
im looking for opinions. i have recently come across those comb head bands things , that girls use to push back there hair. i actually thought they looked like a good idea for the akward stage and purchased one. im using it and i love the look it gives my hair. i was wondering what u guys thought of it? i feel men should be able to wear them to. do u guys agree or have u ever tried? please give me some imput on this.
thanks,
krazie dave
I wore one in my awkward stage till' I could tie it back.
That hair accessory is called an alice band and they work well to keep stray hair out of your face if your hair is too short for a ponytail. Your color choice is good, it blends in with your hair and is almost invisible. Absalom
Hey Dave!
I still wear a headband (not a comb- type one though) - infact Im wearing one as we speak! Its not that my hair isnt long enough to tie back, I just find them comfortable! I have never worn it out of the house though - although I dont see any reason why a guy should'nt be able to :-)

i wore an alice band even though i was past the awkward stage. Sometimes i wear a sweatband on my head, but when i did at college last year my friends didn't speak to me, so i stopped wearing it.
Usually I like to use bandana's.. they look cool and work great, headbands would work similarly and be good to use i guess, maybe ill give it a try sometime
I like!
Wish I had thought of it when going through the "Awkward Stage."
I would have done the same.
It's funny that you brought it up. I actually am wearing one now. I like it so much that aside from the one I have on my head, I have another one just like it for back up. It works great. And yes, I do think men can wear it. I never heard a comment or anything.

...A.S. I think anything goes!! I wore elastic headbands and various forms of butterfly clips during that time! Personally, I didn't feel comfortable wearing them outside the house due to the feminine stigma associated with those types of accessories, but, for me, around the house...anything goes!
