Picture Purged
Here's a photo taken just last week ... hair growth is at about 2 years following a skinned high n' tight ... was at almost mid-back before that big mistake.
I really like the beard and am going to grow it longer. Any opinions on beards without the mustache? I tried it ... kinda liked it ... but think I like the full beard better for myself.
Karsten
I personally don't care for the beard without a mustache look, but that's just me. You have to decide for yourself what you think looks best on you and go with that.
That being said, I think your beard looks great in that pic. So does your hair.
Thanks for the compliment ... I just never liked how my mustache grows ... one advantage is that it looks great when it growing back in and makes the beard look even longer. (I never liked a beard on myself when I was younger - but now I really like it with the long hair.)
I have a recommendation for you. I keep my goatee (and beard when I have one) trimmed, and it never gets too long. I use electric clippers to do this. That way I get a nice, uniform trim all over. It's faster, easier, and better than trimming with scissors. You should get some clippers (usually used to cut hair for buzz cuts) and trim just your 'stache with it. This way you achieve the look you want without shaving it all the way off.
Just a thought.
And you're welcome on the compliment. I mean it, the hair and beard look great.
Cool looking hair, you suit it very well. Are you gonna aim for your old hair length? You remind me of Jeff Bridges in The Big Lebowski.
Matt.
I am aiming for terminal length ... whatever that might be for me. (When I has short hair I was told I looked like director James Cameron.)
Karsten
I agree with the Big Lebowski comment... I think he looked so cool in that movie - is it just me or did he look really like Eddie Vedder (sp?)

On looking through my bank of images, I've decided it's more a vague resemblance... but here's an example - you get the idea :)

I see the resemblance, and yes Jeff did look way cool in that movie. He oozed awesomeness in that movie, definitely my favourite film character in recent years.
Seeing that photo of Eddie makes me sad about his hair cut :(. I dunno how long it is now, but the last time I saw him it was like a Number 2 length. Such thick, flowing hair gone to waste...

I know!
So many of the 'older' rock stars seem to have done this to re-vamp their image, metallica for example, or chris cornell *sniff*
Look at the difference...
Though he's a sexy beast either way lol.

And then you have Krist Novoselic......

You long hair & beard suit you very well.
Good Luck!
Looks fantastic, especially with the beard in the combo.
I know what you mean about beard no moustache - my upper lip is quite sensitive and can be irritated by facial hair, so most of the time I just have the jawline unshaved.
Personally I think it looks fine - I'd probably look dodgy with a moustache - like someone you'd buy cheap watches off in an alley. But yours looks good - I'm sure either way suits you.

How much for a watch, Wolfie?
The beard/hair package is fantastic, you look a little like hulk hogan to me:)
Maybe consider changing your avatar pic to this? It's much better, does anyone agree with me?
I'd agree, keep the mustache/ beard as is or longer. Your hair looks great!
Your hair and beard look great! I really like the shape of the beard with mustache. Balances your face and hair.

It is looking good, keep on growing it. Absalom
