Hi everyone. It's been a couple of months since I posted an update so I thought I'd better get round to it.
Since the last update, I've reached another milestone. I've found that if I stare straight up at the sky, contort my arm up my back, stand on one leg and shout "no-one expects the Spanish Inquisition" at the top of my voice, I can get hold of the back of my hair. Wow, you're all saying, is this man deranged or what??? lol
Anyway, as you can probably see from the pic, the ends are starting to look a bit messy so I was thinking about a maintenance trim. No more than 1/2" to tidy them up.
What do you all think? Put up with the untidy ends (though not split ends) or take the plunge and get the trim?

It depends on how clean you want to look. If you want a perfectly shaped looking head of hair, go for the trim. If you don't mind looking less than perfect - but still very good - skip the trim and just keep it growing.
The ends look ok here just a little curly. Is that bad?
No, it's not bad at all. It's just part of the natural growth of the hair.
Your hair is nearing the end of the awkward stage and it would probably be best to let it grow at this time. If you trim now you will likely prolong the period of unruly hair. A lot of those waves will relax as it gets longer. Absalom
