I've attached a pic of the hairstyle I want
(yes it is one of the hanson brothers lol)
but how would i make my hair look like that. its the same color but right now my hair isnt even an inch long.
Let it grow til it's longer than that, then get it trimmed into shape. Bring the photo in to the salon with you.
Just let it grow without trims!
My hair is approaching or might even be 7 inches long and looks almost the same if I tuck the sides behind my ears.
The previous 2 comments were absolutely right but I have something to add. You also have to look at your hair type... If you have hair that's not wavy like the Hansson guy then you'll have a hard time getting/maintaining that look. I do think it's a spiffy style though.

Funny... Some people have taken to calling me "Hanson" mostly by way of a slur... I guess they compare the way my hair looks been blonde and quite long to the way the Hanson brothers looked in the MMMBop Video.
Curiously, beyond the blonde hair there is no real resemblance with style or cut... so I guess it shows the way people really haven't got a clue.
But to answer your question. How would you get hair like that photo?
Let your hair grow for 8 months, then take that photo to a Salon and say - "like that please".
Your hair needs to be pretty straight for this to work, so if you have tight curly hair forget it. Loose waves will be fine though, then scupt with a little wax.
