Hi i know it sounds stupid but i think i am addicted to them because i can almost get it in a full one and it is just so easy and now sometimes it feels weried round my face !!
you know the feeling. So i dont know what i am going to do at school because i am on summer holiday now and i dont want to put it up because somone will probley chop it off you know what kids are like all evil !!!

Yeah, I love the good old basic ponytail too - so versatile! As for kids chopping it off I think that's highly unlikely. There is a chance but it's slim. It will probably happen now I've said it but I've been travelling on public transport for the last six years and have yet to encounter any such abuse. Woe be tied anyone who would try it on too!
In the summer it's just too hot to have all that hair around your face but what I do love is when I go hill walking to let the breeze blow over my face and blow my hair back. I get a real sense of liberation from that... until the wind changes direction and blows from behind lol!

haha, happened to me too for a while... those days i'm just wearing it lose most of the time (hmm, i realize it's tied right now, but that's an exception)
just go with whatever's comfortable at the moment. I will usually put it in a tail when I have to read.... actually i always let it wrap up into itself so i dont have to make it too thight, but maybe this only works because i have lots of hair. i really dislike having my hair pulled back hard!
i suggest wearing it without fear. I've never even thought about someone chopping off my hair before you mentioned it, and never had any problem at school. i doubt this can happen if you're confident and not acting with fear in mind.
anyway, good luck, and go with what feels right!

As your hair gets longer, you will find it easier to put it up
into a tail in seconds.
Also, as your hair gets much longer (in certain social situations)
it can really get 'in people's faces.'

yep, that's something my dance partners grouse about. I think of it as payback for all the times I've been whipped by women's ponytails as they spin under my arm.
I like ponytails too but me being the paranoid guy that I am.. I think that someone could sneak up on you and with one fast clip of the scissor cut the whole thing off!
Personally I think your worring too much about the 'kids' cutting you hair off if you had it in a pony tail. If they were going to do that they'd probably do it even if you wore it down. They might gesture cutting your hair etc, but they would probably never do it.
However I know what you mean, and how it can be a worry, but if I were you, i'd just do what ever you'd feel most comfortable with in the long run.
