Picture Purged
From 1" to 14" at present.
What a magnificent mane you have there!
And I see piano music in the background, always a great sight:)
Justin, you should really be proud of the hair you have!
Who says trimming is neccassary in order to prevent split ends? If I was in a debate re this supporting the no trim position, I would use your hair as Example no. 1.
And good luck on your journey to terminal my friend, going by the length and quality you have acheived already in only 2 years, your promise today may seem a bit rash in 4 or 5 years time when your hair is still growing!
Then again Absalom seems happy, so good luck!
Fantastic, silky, shiny, gently-waving hair with a perfect tapering
to your wonderful 2-year length!
Believe it or not, (at least according to this photo) your
hair color & tapering is fairly close to mine!
Congratulations to you for reaching your two-year milestone!
(And many of us understand fully what that involves!)
Thanx for sharing your progress with this Board...and, as always,
Good Luck on Your Journey!
Thanks so much Luckskind. :-)
I have never had a trim, so this "taper" happened by itself naturally. The "wave" you see is not always present. Sometimes it is this way, other times much much straighter straighter hair. I don't know what causes this but don't really care. Hey, I could have a baldness problem. The poor guys that have to put-up with that one.
And most interesting is the fact that both of us (with shorter hair) saw "salt and pepper." Now at a longer length the salt is about gone and can't even be noticed!
Thanks. It was well worth it. But I'm not stopping here......no way. I am going for terminal.
Wish it could have been done nearly 3 months ago. Yikes... it was like pulling teeth to be able to get at least something on. (I am Computor illerate.)
If I could have been able to today, I would have shown different things that are "fun" to do with Long Hair. When wearing the back in a Ponytail, I am now using 3 ties. Kind of neat. Hair is neat. Hair is fun! :-)
You have probably read in past posts of mine my present hair routine? I think this accounts ALOT for the shine.
Nice hearing from another artist.
All the best-
Justin~
I agree. Always good to see classical music. Are you a pianist? Oh, and your hair is amazing too.
Love,
Kiat T.
Thanks Kiat.
Pianist, former Organist, Violin, Viola and a "bit " of the Clarinet. But my main thing is that of a Classical Composer. The music sounds circa 1915............French Tradition. Close to Maurice Ravel many times. (But then, just being myself despite a bit of Bartok, Rebikov and Faure thrown-in.) No 2 pieces ever alike.
All the best-
Justin~
Oh wow. That's so great. I'm a heart broken musician myself. I'm studying music (and psychology) in college right now but I don't feel like the music thing's going to work out and I might have to change from flute performance to something lame like history or theory... Hopefully composition (that's my second choice after performance) but that's going to be tough. Anyway. It's great to know there's another music enthusiast on the board!
Love,
Kiat T.
Nice, really nice. Absalom
Thank you ever so much Absalom. Much appreciated..........especially when the compliment comes from someone who towers over me in length.
Great Hair Justin
Wow! "Thats" how long the back gets if you don't trim it! Cool,
Good growth rate for 2 years too! Congrats on getting the photo published Justin!
Sorted
Thanks so much Sorted for the compliments. You will be there before you know it. :-) And besides, you are really already there with awesume fantastic hair!
About the "trims." (And this is just myself.) I knew all along that a trim would do temporary wonders during the Awkward Stage but chose not to and just "bite the bullet" so to speak. The hair went bananas at times, and I would be the 1st to declare that I am bananas to begin with anyway so in my case it didn't bother me. I would just look at it and laugh and wouldn't have cared what anyone might "think" anyway. But the really important thing I feel is that the person is happy inside about it all. Some are, some aren't. But for those who DO get trims, if this brings them the happiness they need, naturally I am 100% on their side. Eventually their hair WILL make it unless of course the "trims" keep returning the length to the same over and over.
Hope you are having a nice day.
Justin~
Really looks GREAT!
Can you really play the music you're holding? If so, you're quite the pianist. Hats off to your hard work and practice.
