Picture Purged
Hi there all, this is my first post here on the board. As you can see I have a long way to go before I can call myself a 'longhair'. (sorry for my English, it's not so good, from Holland ;)...) Well, you can see the picture I hope so let me know what you all think of it. If there is a potential longhair in me ;) Thnx !!
Can't see any reason why it shouldn't look very well not only as you let it grow-out, but when you have reached a full 18" and beyond. Good luck.
Your hair has just the right texture for growing it out:
Seems to be very manageable and this
will make any awkward phase much easier to go through.
Good Luck on your Journey!
...a 'potential long hair' in everyone! The only one that can decide if it's for you is you, and the only way you'll be able to tell is to give it a go. :)
Welcome to the board. This is a great site for support. The guys here (and gals) are very knowledgeable and respectful. Good luck on your journey.
One thing I would recommend...lots of patience. :)
Hi Rutger. Welcome to the board! Long hair will look great on you, and on this board you'll find an amazing group of people to help you through your journey.
Cheers,
Jeremy
Welcome, long hair will suit you, as it does for the other 99.9%! I have yet to see a guy with long hair that would look better with a short haircut. It also depends on how you carry yourself off with longhair: If you are confident in yourself with long hair, people will really feel that and are unlikely to make derogatory remarks against you.
You will change a lot when your hair grows, both outward and inwards. Check my progress pictures, I've documented how different I look after each month of growing, you should look very different too, although with your present hair length, it wont look as dramatic as a person with no hair, to a person with long hair, of course, but still quite a bit different anyway.
And you will look better!
Get a decent shampoo and conditioner, If you have Aussie in Holland, stick with that brand, I use it and I get great results. When your hair gets longer, consider buying a leave in conditioner too.
Hope I've been some help!
Good luck with growing too.
You look like you have a head full of hair, so it ought to look great when it is grown out. As for your English, I would have never known by your post that you were not a native speaker!
Welcome to the board.
Robert
