Hello, i was just wondering what kind of things you use in your hair to keep it in place or for the hell of it. Like i put mine in a pony tail (with a elastic band), but ive thought of getting a bandana to keep my hair out of the way. Is this a good idea? are there other ways to do this like with clips that doesnt look too girly?
Thanks for your time :)
I use a bandana once in awhile to keep my hair out of my eyes when it doesn't wanna stay parted (my bangs are past my nose) and in my opinion I think it looks good, but I was never one that really cared what people thought of my appearance...I hate people that judge me before they know me. But it you should try it and see what you think.

Somehow I can never wear a bandana 'cause it either doesn't stay or looks awkward. And I don't like the bandana look anyway.
I use two things: Ouchless elastic hairband (by Goody) which I use to keep my hair in a ponytail when I go out, but at home I wear a headband just to keep my hair off my face and to give my hair a break from being pulled back.

Have you tried something like a hair glove? They usually sell them in biker shops and leather stores. They're like leather gloves for your ponytail. I've seen lots of manly-men bikers wearing them. Not girly at all.
While the ponytail is the great classic, it gets a little old after a while. Something I'm starting to do is put my hair in a braid (only a couple of locks won't fit). With my hair texture, it stays that way for well over 4 hours of rigoruos movement without coming out. I also like using a bandana, both the way bill uses it (though my hair's not really long enough for it to look right on me) and nWo Slapnut (where has he been anyways?).
That's about it for me.

Yeah, I can see how that would be true. Men seem to have fewer socially acceptable hairstyles.
What about a topknot? When I lived in Hawai'i, I always saw Polynesian men wearing them, and it was very masculine. Shouldn't be too hard to do, either.
The distinction should be made between the topknot and the half-ponytail. The topknot I've found takes a great deal of length in order to do, while the half-ponytail is great for the akward stage (for some people, not with my particular hair type specifically). My hair isn't nearly long enough to do a real topknot yet, but when it is, I'll probably try it out.
