Here he is at Graduation from 8th Grade last year... Beautiful hair huh? But it is usually braided down the back.
Wow, I love the texture, really nice hair.
He has great hair. His hair is so nice I would encourage him to grow it to his waist. Absalom
Awesome hair, I hope to have mine like that except my natural color brown.
Forgive me as I'm British and not familiar with the grading system, is it the same as our system? but does a a person in 8th grade make him in high school and about 12-13 years old?
Anyway, that is some awesome looking hair which absolutely should not be cut!
I wish you the best of luck!
Our public school system begins with Kindergarten (age 5) and then grades 1 through 12. School systems in different geographic regions break up the grades into Elementary (or Grammar) school, Middle (or Jr. High) school, then High School. An eighth-grader would be 13 years old, but depending on how the individual region separates the grades, that student could be in the last year of Elementary school, or the second year of Jr High School, or the last year of Middle School.
Thanks for the in depth reply! I never really knew, and it's not as straightforward as in Britain. Here, we have nursery which lasts until about the age of 4. Then junior school, which I think lasts until about 7 or 8. Then it's primary school until the age of 11 to 12. From 12 until 16 or even 18 in some schools it's comprihensive. After 16, you can quit comprihensive and go on to college instead. Then it's university from 18+.
Damn, thats awesome hair. I don't know if girls like the "having a hole in your face" look though
HI Why did you black out your face???.Its nothing bad posting yourself on this....
You may not be bad, but there are a lot of people who lurk and I understand why she feels the need to black out his face. Just to protect her boy, what's wrong with that?
My son is only 14 and later when he is older should he choose to expose his face that is fine. I am a protective mom.

You've done a great job supporting your son. The principal and the school board need to reign in on this teacher. You may even want to seek legal advice. They'll know you mean business if you show up to a meeting with an attorney. He doesn't have to do anything - just sit there and take notes. Good Luck!
Awesome hair! What kind of brush does he use?
He only brushes once a day in the morning... a plain black cheepo brush with the bristles with the little balls on the end... where the bristles go into the brush it is plastic not rubber so they have very little give.
The big thing with brushing long hair is to start near the bottom and brush it in stages... He brushes the bottom 6 inches and when that is clear he goes up and up again until it is all smooth...
Very Cool Hair... Hope this trouble with the teacher gets sorted, he shouldn't get grief for hair like that.
Sorted
Great hair but looks in the photo like his face could use help. ;-)
looks like a girl...cant believe how men could braid their hair...so girlish..get it cut!!!!
Lol! Frankly, I don't think she's going to listen to you, with such overwhelming praise from everyone else. Besides, she rightly supports her son in growing his hair, so there'll be no chance of him getting a cut.
I don't think braiding is girlish. Gollan doesn't look girlish at all with his braid. It seems very likely you have short hair, judgeing by the comment and I wonder what prejudices you have inside your mind to 1. say a comment like that, and 2. not to grow your hair out?
It's really fun, girls love it and love to play with my hair, and believe me, I've had so much attention from my g/f's since growing my hair out. You should give it a try. Long hair = Success.
Thanks for the support. You are right. I support him and no he won't cut it for anyone other than himself... that is the way it should be.

No proble, I'm just being honest.
You are right. I support him and no he won't cut it for anyone other than himself... that is the way it should be.
Indeed! You are a very liberal parent:)
Maybe you are too insecure to grow and/or braid your hair, or maybe you are just a troll lurking under the cyberbridge?
Great hair!!
