Hi Everyone!
I am 6 months into growing my hair out from the sandpaper/military look and it's getting really scraggly. It's all the way past my ears on the sides and below my collar in back. In front my bangs touch the tip of my nose.
I really like having longer hair and do not want short hair again, but on the other hand, I don't think it looks all that good the way it is.
I've been looking around at pictures of longer haired celebraties trying to find a style that I could emulate. I think maybe it would be easier on me psychologically if I had a better idea of what I was shooting for. Anyway, and I am almost embarassed to admit it, but I really like Leonardo's hair in Titanic.
First, does anyone know if this cut has a name? It may not be important, but I'd rather not ask for a "Leo cut" (yikes). Also, if anyone has any advice or ideas for me at this point, I'd love to hear anything you have to say. For example, will it start to look better at some point? When does it go from looking-much-longer-than-short to starting-to-look-like-long-hair-is-supposed-to-look-like?
Thanks!
1. It probably doesn't look very good the way it is, but...
2. I will get better.
3. I don't know the name of the cut. I can't stand the actor.
4. I think the "looking better point" is when you can tie it back in a pony tail.
5. Wait 6 more months.

That's IT will get better.
Sorry.

Thanks very much for your tips...
