Just figured Id share what products Im using right now, since youve all shared your stuff with me. Maybe it will help some of you get an idea of what your hair needs. I got so much hair stuff now...just getting prepared for healthy maintenance I guess hehe!
~Herbal Essences Natural Vol weightless conditioner
Some of you guys recommended a light conditioner. Man, I had a hard time finding one, until I went to a huge Stop & Shop. The only one I could find was the Herbal Essences, and Ive heard this brand was bad (shampoo wise), but I used to use it all the time when my hair was longer so I dont go by what I hear all the time. I tried it, and man, the results are great! Very soft, and not too limp and stringy like when I used Pantene.
~Biolage Normalizing shampoo
This is my "wash every other day shampoo". I usually dont need to wash twice with this, and it feels really clean.
~Back to Basics Pomigranite shampoo
Cleans out oils really good. Have to wash twice sometimes though.
~Garnier Fructis normal shampoo
Just something to throw in there, hehe. Not as good as the other 2.
~Bone Combs from ebay
Supposedly, these combs dont split hair as much cause they dont have seams in between teeth. I bought 3 sizes to mess around with, seems to untangle pretty well! One con is that the ends of the teeth are a little pointy, so you have to watch out by your scalp.
~Goody smoothing brush
I tried finding something similar to what I used to use back when my hair was over a foot long, which was a stiff nylon brush. Seems to work OK so far, makes hair smooth, Im hoping it wont break or rip my hair though.
Thats about it, any comments!?
Herbal Essences Normal Hair Shampoo
Herbal Essences Normal Hair Conditiner
Nothing else works as good as these for me.
Ps. your songs are very cool.

Since I'm jobless as of this past Tuesday I just bought some cheap stuff. I gotz bottles of White Rain shampoo and conditoner. A $1 each. Come on!..... LOL! Actually, I might try another conditioner. I can't describe how it feels but I'm not liking the way the conditioner leaves my hair. I'll try one of what you guys are using.
White Rain makes lots of different products, which don't all work the same. Some conditioners leave a greasy residue on the hair, while the ends feel dry and ickily unconditioned. (How do they do that?) If you're on a budget, there are a few low end products I can recommend, and probably lots more I haven't tried yet that can work just as well.
I don't use shampoo, just conditioner. But the conditioner you use is more important for the final effect than the shampoo you use, as it's the conditioner that leaves residues that, er, condition, detangle, etc. Just as long as your shampoo is gentle and doesn't damage your hair, it shouldn't be an issue. But I find my hair is in much better condition when I don't use shampoo at all, only wash with conditioner.
First of all (these are all conditioners that cost around $1):
White Rain Extra Body
VO5 Kiwi-Lime - some people find this irritates their scalp
VO5 Free Me Freesia
Suave Daily Clarifying
I think it actually is the shampoo and not the White Rain conditioner that makes my hair feel the way it does.
White Rain Extra Body This is the one I'm using. I think I'll change shampoo and try this conditioner again.: VO5 Kiwi-Lime - some people find this irritates their scalp
These last ones I've not heard of so I'll do some investigating. Thanks for all the help, Katherine.
