Hello I have been growing my hair for a year and a half or so. I started out with really really short hair I used to get bowl cuts. At the moment my hair is about 5-7 inches long. And I have been hearing alot of stuff about the shampoos and conditioners being sold at grocery stores is bad for the hair. And my question is what kind of shampoo and conditioners should I be using? My hair is naturally curly/wavy and gets really bushy and frizzy at times what would be the best treatment for that?
Thanks much,

I suggest using Aussie shampoo and Conditioner. They moth made my hair softer, less tangled and easier to manage. So Aussie products are what I think works best.
Treatment? Meditate. Stop seeing this as a disease...
I would recommend Dr Bronners, it's made entirely of organic oils that are really good for your hair. And it's cheap, I paid 20$CDN for a liter bottle, and it will last years - you have to dilute it a lot! The tea tree one is excellent as tea tree oil is an antifungal (so it's good against dandruff), but some people dont' like the smell. they also have some made with spearmint, lavender, etc, essential oils, that smell "better".)
Avoid comercial shampoos and conditioners if you care for your health.

Where did you buy the Dr. Bronner's shampoo from?
Thanks!

check out local health stores and you should find it, i've seen it at a couple places.

Unless you have really soft water, make sure to follow the Dr. Bronners with a vinegar rinse (about 1 part vinegar to about 8 or so parts water). Soap will leave residue in your hair if you have hard water and don't follow with a vinegar rinse.
