does anyone here have long hair done in layers? a friend of mine said i should get it layered but i dunno, im not really sure wot long hair layers would look like... anyone got pics or stuff would be appreciated.
Don't ever get a haircut because somebody else thinks it would be a good idea. You should be really sure, and as far as I can see, you're not ready for any cut at all.
by 'not sure' i meant i have no idea what layers in long hair look like.... good or bad... no desiciouns, just curious. im at a nice stage now, mid back so i can afford to play round a little.
Do you still have no idea what layers in long hair look like? 'Good' or 'bad' is a subjective judgment. I've seen people with layered haircuts that were three inches long on top, and halfway down their backs. They don't trim it a little bit around the edges, they lop of most of the length on top, and usually thin it, too. Kiat's stylist layered his hair not long ago, without asking his permission, and he hated it. Layers take just as long to grow out as the hair took to grow in the first place.

My hair was done in layers last year Dec. 2003. I'm currently growing them out but you can still see it. As my hair gets longer, it forms long layers now.

And you should perhaps consider Katherine's advice here...if you're not sure about cutting your hair, then you shouldn't.
Later on, if you do cut it into layers, it's hard to grow them out again....(from my point of view)
