Picture Purged
Hi everyone,
Right these are the only skin head photos of me that I have on computer. I do have much better ones but there not digital photos and have not got the equipment to put them on computer.
I'm sorry about quality/lighting of pics. I can never seem to get them right!
Anyway comments please! Good or not so good welcome.
I know that the majority of people on this forum like long hair but please be realistic on what you think looks best. I have to say the skin head photos are probably a bit vague, i.e. difficult to compare because of pic quality, I'm sorry about this.

I think in your case that you were born with the ability to look well no matter what you do with your hair. An "all-win" situation! Lucky!
As a "Skin Head" great!
As a Longer hair great!
But, and only my opinion............the Longer hair brings-out a certain depth (for the better) that is absent in the "Skin Head Photos" which are by no means bad photos.
You will never know how lucky you are.
Thanks for sharing the photos.
You're lucky in that you suit both long hair and a skinhead. I won't bother saying which style suits you more at the moment, since your current length is unimportant with regard to your goals. When you reach ponytail length, long hair will totally rule on you. Normally when I see guys with mid-body length hair it doesn't particularly suit them, nor does it not suit them; the hair is just there (although the hair itself is awesome). But I am pretty confident that mid-body hair will compliment your face. Good luck with it.

I watched an episode of Oprah Winfrey a few days ago, and that's true for us women too. She had on about 8 really long haired women, and for various reasons they wanted to change their look. After they all had been given a makeover, and had a shorter style, I think only one of them looked better before her hair was cut.
As usual, I suggest to avoid commercial television, especially the makeover shows. Television sells products, and all 8 of those women probably look perfect in terms of how much money is made. TV is a bargain for advertisers, but it doesn't help the viewers.
For us, it's better to be on the internet and message boards like this. We can share information with real people and learn things that help us.
Thank god for the BBC over here in the UK, quality, advertisment free programmes, always. The BBC has observed John Reith's Philosophy very closely, which is, TV and radio is designed "to Inform, to Educate, and to Entertain, notice the entertainment being last. There is a lot more entertainment than education, or even information such as the news, but even the BBC must compete for audiences from rival networks. But at least there are no advertisments. Sorry, this is getting really off topic here, I'm just rambling on here so I'll end it.
With some people, they look better with either short or long hair. You're lucky because you look good with both, although the short style makes you look rougher, the longer style makes you look more easygoing.
It's kind of similar to actor Edward Norton, who's grown a goatee or beard to fit a part for a few movies he's been in, compared with his usual clean-shaven style.
Your hair grows very fast and long hair suits you very well. Absalom
I agree with Carla, I think you have the kinda face that will suit virtually any hairstyle. The skinhead does make you look a little "meaner" though.
What's more given that your current photo is circa 9 months growth, which places you right smack in the worst of the awkward stage, I think your hair already looks really good and is only gonna look better with time. Wait until your hair is shoulder length and then its really gonna be the bee's knees.
Sorted
The bee's knees? Haha Sorted that is the greatest saying ive heard on this board.
Come to Britain and you'll hear that all the time!:)
And..............years ago when living in New England I heard this saying all the time! (Very common.) I have yet to hear it on the West Coast however, and by now it may have died-out in New England by now.
Wonder if anyone knows of or remembers people who used the expression "MORE FOOL YOU?" I used to hear it from very elderly folks. They used this expression when someone did something that was absolutely stupid and it back-fired on them. When very young I 1st heard it from a man well in his 90's who had been born in Canada and had come to the US. He was born in 1862.
Hi Justin! I it's extreamly common to hear that saying in Great Britannia:)
I'm sorry, never heared that one before.
Lol - Its the Anglo American Divide!
We're just full of coloquialisms you American's never hear, and I'm proper little English man too so I'm full of them...
I guess you American's find us Brits a bit weird... The men drink Tea... Our army seem to all wear furry hats, we call the hood of a car "the bonnet" and the trunk - "the boot", we aren't citizens of our country instead we are "subjects of our Queen".
We even eat stuff called 'Yorkshire Pudding' as a starter and 'Spotted Dick' for dessert... (but of course that isn't what you think it is....)
Indeed to Americans we must appear very very strange...
lol, well you know my opinion on your current style. Looking at your pic somemore I think I know what it is that is bugging me, its cos the bottom flips and has way more volume than the top. As for your skinhead look I like it actually, I think you would suite a spiky look better tho (with the right cut and products used). You have an almost perfectly symmetrical face so you could have just about any hair style or look there is! - lucky u! I'd say grow out your hair until you are bored with it then try something different, it will continue to grow after all so you can always change it back to long when u get bored of whatever you changed it to. One thing tho, I dont think you would suite excessive long hair (in fact I dont think any guys do *sshhh*) Shoulder length cud look great tho.
Spiky hair is the only hair so far that really doesn't suit me, I've have actually tried it on a few occasions and its a no go. I know it seems that it would to some, but does not!
I'm definatly going to go to shoulder length and if all ok I will keep growing.
I really hate short hair! I don't mind one bit seeing it on others but for me, nope can't stand it. I just got fed up of suffering the hate of sort hair on my head.
