My wife's hair is longer than mine, but the first time I grew it in the 1970s, about the time we got engaged, mine was longer than hers. Trouble is, hers grows faster than mine!
Our only other longhair neighbour does have longer hair than his girlfriend, and yes, I think she is jealous!

My girlfriend's glaring at me as I type this, since she doesn't like admitting that my hair is slightly longer, but I think she's catching me up very quickly as I get near my maximum length.

Because of your height, Resonance, your hair is longer. I know it doesn't appear this way, but think about it.
I'm assuming you're a bit taller than your girlfriend. So it appears you have equal length, but if she had your hair, it would be a lot longer than hers.
I hope you understand what I'm getting at, lol. You both have AMAZING HAIR!!

I think your hair is thicker than hers. I have thin hair, and people with thick hair tend to look like they have longer hair, which does make me jealous. If I was her, that's what would make me jealous, not the length.
Not only is my hair longer than my wife's (twice as long, in fact) but it is longer than my 12 year old daughters, and only about the same length as my 17 year old daughter's. My son, 10, has decided he wants long hair. Don't know how far he is going with it yet, but soon, his will out-length my wife's/his mother's!

My hair is twice as long as my former girlfriend's. Her terminal length was mid-back.
In the years we were together, she saw how much maintenance my hair required and how it could become a hassle at times. She concluded that hair of my length was beyond what most people would reasonably deal with. She's right, of course.

When my wife first gave me the okay to grow mine, she said, "As long as you keep it shorter than mine." Mine finally reached her length. Now it's much longer. I guess if she wants hair longer than mine, she should grow her hair longer :-)
