Ive been growing my hair for about 15 months now and when I take out my tail my hair is somewhat bunched together and leaves a wierd kind of wave. Any suggestions?
Er, well you could try and leave your hair loose for a while. It's normal that your hair would form some kind of wave, after haveing it tied up for a couple of hours or so.

sure, few suggestions. first, don't put a tie in when your hair is wet. second, if you must, don't put in a tie that is tight. third, when you take it out, comb it out fully, upside down, which seems to help. fourth, look about, you'll see girls with the "pony tail" wave as well.
I've had that problem too... though I've found that the longer my hair has gotten the quicker the kink or wave seems to dissapear.
If you think about it, when you tie your first ponytail, you maybe get say 4 inches worth of hair in the tail. The kink appears at the point of the hair tie, so in otherwords the kink appears 4 inches from the tips of your hair. But as you hair gets longer you get more hair into the tail... this means that the hair tie is now say 6-8 inches from the tips of the hair and whilst it still causes a kink, the extra weight in those extra inches of hair, pulls the kink straight again.
Another thing that helps is not tieing the hair tie so tight as it makes the kink more pronounced. Again this is someone you have to do whilst your hair only just reaches the tail, but you can afford to tie your ponytail looser as your hair gets longer.
Give it another 3-4 months and the problem will dissapper.
