what products or whatever can i use to make my hair look less thick and pumfy?? i want it to stay lookin wet but didnt have much joy wiv garneir fructus wet lookm gel - it dried almost as quickly as it normally would
also the "bangs" seem damaged - they are never straight!!!! they dry 2x as fast as the rest of my hair and go all curly and horrible. maybe its cuz when my hair was shortish i tucked it behind my ears, and that part of my hair is sorta trained there now. also when i wear a cap i tuck it there so it looks kinda silly without a cap of sum kind
it is REALLY important to me cuz i need to feel confident about my appearance to be happy - eg. playing 5-a-side footy i play better if i'm happy wiv my hair
please help
cheers!!
Wish I could give you some tips but I have the same exact problem as you. Its too thick and my bangs dry wierd cuz its used to being tucked behind all the time. And I almost always wear a hat and feel somewhat silly whithout it.
I have the same problem, its really a pain.. I mean, after I shampoo and all, it feels great, but once it dries, it looks like my hair is all damaged.. unless I use hair gel (which i really dont want to because I think it will really damage it) it will look like IO had just gotten up from bed or something..
What I would reccomend is that you guys try a few new things. First, stop shampooing your hair every day- if it's too puffy and thick looking, you are probably just washing away too much natural scalp oil. This may sound gross at first, but it's not. Just wash your hair with water for a day or two and see how it goes.
Secondly, if you're trying to make your hair straighter, try combing it a certain way while it's wet. then put on a hat and leave it on till your hair dries. See how this works for you, and let me know, and if it doesn't I'll suggest something else.
that's good advice after not washing my hair for a day or wo it looks great. also if you wear a hat all day and then sleep when you wake up your hair should be almost perfectly straight if not brush it thouroughly
I know that when I wear a cap for a long time my hair gets all straight, but should I also wear the cap when go to sleep? I mean.. i read somewhere something about how important sleep is for the hair growth, and Im afraid that if I do wear a cap it might slow down the process or even damage the hair?
will it still be ok?
I would wear the cap all day and then take it off right before you go to sleep
Daita,
I can speak from my own experience to say that sleeping with a cap on, in my case as a comfortable tangle preventative, does not seem to harm growth or the hair. Choose a cap that fits well enough to not fall off but is not tight. I think you'll be fine.
