My hair seems to like clump together when it's wet. Is this some sort of damage or is this perfectly normal? This is the first time that i've had long hair since I was around 2 or 3. And i'm still learning how to take proper care of my hair. Other than that and those new hairs that stick out when I put my hair in a pony tail and the pieces that fall out of the hair tie and the tangles and poofiness are the only real problems that i've had thus far.
I've been growing my hair for about 17 months ( I started out with hair less than an inch long) and the last time that I measured my hair is was around 5 inches long but that has been a few months ago. But my hair looks slightly shorter because it is wavy in some spots and really curly on the tips of my hair on the back of my head. So far I think that I'm making some pretty good progress and i'm looking forward to more growth and being able to put it in a complete pony tail without my bangs and stray hairs coming out all over the place.
I could use as much advice as possible on all areas of growing hair out.
Thanks,
Mark

Yes Mark, hair clumping together when wet is normal and is quite expected. You should put up a progress pic for us sometime.
Good luck.

Hello Kiat thanks for replying to my post I appreciate the information that you as well as the other board users have shared with me. I will try to get a picture of my old short hair and my new growing long hair on here sometime soon. Right now I can't b/c I don't have a scanner or digital cam but I will get some pics taken and will somehow get them scanned off so I can share the pictures of my hair with the discussion board users on here.
Thanks,
Mark
Alrighty then! We all await to see how you're doin'.
