Anyone use Aussie shampoo and found its made them loose more hairs than usual? Maybe im just being paranoid but I mustve lost around 50-70 hairs during washing/brushing/combing it this evening. I swear it isnt usually this many and ive only recently changed shampoos.

I really dont think (tho correct me if im wrong) that a shampoo can particularly cause hairloss.... unless it has an active ingredient which aussie does not. Now if you said breaking then it could be the shampoo, but falling out from the root sounds like its more so a internal cause than external. It could be hormonal, in fact a thyroid imbalance can cause hair loss for example. It could also of course be the way you wash with aussie, if you are vigourously going for it you could be lifting off the hairs which had reached their terminal length. I dont think you can actually pull out a healthy hair really unless you actually pull on it, combing etc shouldnt really do it. I wouldnt worry about it unless it is ongoing and your hair noticably thins, that would indicate hormonal and you could get something like nioxin shampoo to wash away the DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which can also cause hair loss.
Or just switch back to your old one and see how it goes?...
My understanding is that 50-100 hairs per day is normal range, so you are well within that. I have been using Aussie exclusively for over a year now, and do not notice "extra" hair loss from it.
If your hair is getting longer, it may just feel like more on your hands, as the hairs are longer than they used to be!

I have just come to the end of my Aussie Moist shampoo, and when I was using it, I did notice more hairs falling out during the shampooing. I think that the ingredients in the shampoo are quite harsh and I noticed it's quite hard to move your hand through your hair with the shampoo on. I'm now using Sunsilk shampoo, which has satin proteins, and I probably loose only 10-15 hairs instead of 50+ as I used to with Aussie.
Personally, I think the Aussie shampoo is harsh, while the conditioner is lovely stuff:)
Sunsilk eh? How does it work out for you? Can you list the ingredients and where to buy it(like is it available outside the UK?)?
yeh, i had used the conditioner for a while and got good results so i thought i would use the shampoo too for added effect. obviously flawed logic.
