This is what is wrong with my neck.
Ivix, I wouldn't see this as a problem... Not with long hair anyway... Its more likely to be a problem with buzzed short hair.
You've got more than enough hair to cover your neckline so it will never look uneven. The little wisps of neck hair at the lower sides are just natural fuzz which all guys get, most of us just ignore it.

Dear God, will it grow back in?
The only chunk missing seems to be right at the centre of your neck line where it rises quite high... the photo is low resolution so its difficult to tell, but it looks natural...
If you shaved the chunk out... then it'll grow back in...
But heck I wouldn't worry about the gap... its covered by your hair... who is gonna notice?

I woulnd't worry about it. In fact, when I had long hair I didn't worry then about it. I'm growing my hair again and when it's long enough to cover those small whisps I'm not going to worry about it again. If it bothers you that much then trim it off.

I don't see anything wrong with it. Many people have an upside-down V-shaped neckline. Mine looks like that, too.
I have this, too. I never thought about it being something "wrong" with me, lol
It's just a high neckline. The only time that would look bad is with a buzzcut (and I've seent that also).

This is me from behind with a ponytail. Hair has gotten a little longer since this picture was taken.

That's a great looking ponytail. From the wet hair picture it is clear that you're making excellent progress. Don't worry about the chunk missing from your back hairline. It will grow back to reach your ponytail in a couple of months. When I trim my neck hair I pull the hair up exactly the way you are doing and use an electric trimmer. I only trim to within 3-4mm of the natural hairline. This leaves a small fringe (1mm or so) but it guarantees that I'm not cutting longer hairs from the hairline. I only trim my neck every few weeks. BTW, when I had to use a blade I protected the hairline by putting my finger across it. Thanks for the update!

Actually Ivix your hair looks really long in this photo and because its wet, it actually shows the true length of your hair, cos like mine your hair is quite wavy. You hair looks slightly longer than mine though. :-)
