new thread
So I've kind of fallen off the wagon with my update pics, but I'm still growing my hair and I thought I'd show y'all my progress. The length is really starting to help control things which is great, and I'm beginning to enjoy the benefits of long hair in colder weather. I've begun wearing a ponytail off and on, but my bangs aren't quite there yet so I can't put my hair directly back which is a drag. I'm patient though, and I reckon a few more months will allow me to do the thing right. So let me know if ya have any comments or style suggestions cuz I'm always looking for a new look. (^_^)

The ponytail will come, the bangs seem to take forever, mine still won't stay put 100%. For a "safe" alternative, try the half tail. :-)

If your bangs still aren't perfect for a pony tail, then I know I'm in for a seriously long ride, Sorted. I've been playing with all sorts of alternatives, from the parted pony tail to pigtails to Wolfeyes' topknot suggestion. I guess I'll just have to remain patient. Thanks for your reply!

Your hairs looking great, you seem to be out of the woods in terms of awkwardness. How many months growth is that? Any trims in between?...
I checked out your very cool website and it seems your into the TESOL thing. I plan on teaching in Thailand after i finish up my BAH, have you heard anything positive/negative about teaching there? Also, I heard Japan treats TESOL teachers very nicely in financial terms as long as you have a degree, is this true?

I think you're one of those lucky types who looks perfectly fine with either long or short hair. However, based on just one photo, I'd say you're at that stage where your hair will look even better when it's longer (particularly around the front side) or if it were somewhat shorter. Again, that's just IMHO.
You may be right about that. Given the choice however, I think I'll try to go for the even longer option rather than cutting it. At least for now.
Your hair is beginning to look really good and will look even better as it gets longer. You have thick hair. You may want to try a bandanna to tame your hair. Absalom
Thanks for the advice. Acutally, since I've begun taking Acutane my hair has felt a lot more thin. No more is falling out than usual, but it doesn't quite have the weight. For me, this side-effect isn't necessarily bad...
Your hair is doing fantastically! Looks great even at its present length.
As for suggestions I can't think of a one. Whatever you have been doing is a 100% success.
