Well, I finally got the facial hair removed today.
Do you think I look better with or without the beard/stache?
Comments would be appreciated.

I personaly liked your Beard/Stache, but you still look awesome shaved.
1. In some ways I think the beard definitely adds something
to your overall 'Look.'
It seems to provide a nice balance with your long,
wavy hair.
In fact, it sort of makes you look like a movie star or celebrity. And I'll be
if you walked down the dtreet wearing sunglasses,
many people would do a double-take!
2. If you choose to go without the beard, you will need to
comb out your hair more carefully.
Perhaps combing it gently toward the back of your head...
somewhat similar to the wind blowing it back.
But without the beard, you definitely want your hair to look 'neater'
if you know what I mean.
3. Your current length looks great on you. Some people
do not necessarily 'need' to have very long hair, and you
are probably one of those.
4. With or without the beard, you definitely have 'The Look,'
Pay special attention to making your hair look a bit more 'controlled'
by gently combing it out it one direction.
5. Try walking down the street while carrying yourself like a celebrity. Wear the sunglasses and try to pretend that you do not want to be recognized.
6. Let us know how the people around you (family, friends, etc.)
react to your hair and looks in general. This should be fun!

Personally, I think you should opt for the beard, maybe even grow it a bit longer than what you had, but even just a 'stubble beard' goes well with your hair the way it is.
while you do look ok clean shaved I like the beard much better
but then again I do like furry faces

I think you look even better than before, it reminds me of Robert Plant or Sebastain Bach's hair...definitly a good thing. :)
Well you certainly look younger. Beards tend to make one look old (I'm not old, just too lazy to shave).

Id have to say either suits you fairly well. Without the facial hair you also look ALOT younger and not alot but just slightly diffrent. Its amazing what hair can do, even facial hair lol.
I think you look better with the beard, but trim it neatly, especially around the neck.
I think you looked better with the beard. It would grow back pretty quickly, though, so it's a lot less of a big deal than if you had cut your hair.
Hello Not So Scruffy Dude. I have taken a look at both of your pictures. I think you look ok without a beard and all. But I must say you look really cool with the beard and the way that your hair is. I too have hair similar to yours and I prefer the scrappy look even tho I can't grow a decent looking moustache :( I have no trouble with the sideburns and beard. Well got luck in whatever you decide.

I agree with the people who said you can pull off either look, and you have incredible hair. I say do whatever you feel most comfortable with.

I think some stubble for a beard would suit you very well though. I am totally jealous of your hair! Really man, I'd love that thickness.
I think you're lookin' real good. Clean shaven with long hair is a nice alternative, and it works well on you.

You have not told us what YOU prefer.
Perhaps LONG hair AND a BEARD are too much for the people around you?

I think you look much much better clean shaven. Should you decide to regrow the beard, it might look better if it's outlined and trimmed.

Personally, I think you look best with a few days' growth, just some scruff, neither clean shaven nor a full beard. And I'm curious to learn what you finally decided about your "Florida dilemma" involving your mom's community. Please share.
I would either grow the facial hair back or "tame" the hair by pulling it back into a tail or (maybe) straightening it. In other words, "totally neat" or "totally laid back". JMHO.
