Does patchouli oil have any good effect on hair health other than just making it smell good? I just recently ordered some patchouli oil to put in my hair and for use as a cologne. I was wondering if there is anything else that's good about patchouli for your hair as well as hemp? I've been seeing alot of shampoos on the internet that have hemp in it. I've been tempted to get some to just try it out. I'm on a search for some natural shampoos and other hair things to use. Any suggestions?

As far as I know, patchouli will help if the skin of your scalp is chapped or oily but I know of no effects on the hair itself.
Regarding natural shampoos, try castille soap.
Hhhmm I dont know about patchouli as a hair oil... some essential oils can strip the varnish of polished surfaces so maybe its best to stick with reg base oils. Also e/o are not supposed to be used 100% proof, they should be diluted in a carrier or base oil such as wheatgerm, sweet almond, jojoba, avocado etc.
