Seen these things advertised on TV. Not quite sure how it's supposed to dry wet hair and straighten it at the same time without completely frying your hair but whatever. Anyone got any info on them?
I dont get it either, they operate (or at least one does) at 200 deg, and reg ceramic ones are like 220, so I dont see how it makes much difference. Unless they have a discrete interval temperature changes I dont see how they wouldnt sizzle your hair?
*delurk*
I've got one of these ((Remingtom Wet2Straight)) and they do straighten damn well. I haven't seen any damage yet, though I guess it's early days. Something about steam and ions the booklet says, I don't pretend to understand :)
