i was just wondering what everybodys preference of wearing your hair or seeing other people wearing their hair is. I like seeing their hair down unless in a professional setting. I like mine down unless im doing something where it can get in the way.
Right now, Arkansas (my home state) has very high humidity. It is very inconvenient to keep it down. Also, at my length, it can get in the way, big-time. I prefer keeping it pulled back if I can keep the ponytail nice and smooth.
I keep my hair in a segmented ponytail with 9 hair bands at approximately 4 inch intervals. My hair has an extreme tendancy to knot and tangle. Due to its extreme length I have only 2 options. Keep it multiple tied or cut it shorter. Absalom
Unfortunately I wear my hair in a ponytail everyday except for at night I sometimes take it down.
I wear mine in a pony tail for work, and usually down when at home and on the weekends. Cooler weather is not far away, though, so there will be days when I wear it down to work.

I can't wear my hair down. First of all, it ends up everywhere. In my eyes, in my mouth, completely covering my face. Like Slash's hair on steroids. Secondly, If I wear it down it gets very knotty, then I just end up losing so much hair when I try to detangle it. Even a ponytail is not control enough to prevent the knots. Like Absalom, I have to control it more. So I usually keep in a braid, or up in a bun.
