Stanley, are you okay? You posted calls for help because you were in such pain, didn't respond after that, and then I notic a post from you the next day to someone's ponytail. Or, has someone hijacked your name and email? Just concerned. It sounded like you were it pretty bad shape. Let us know.
Robert
I am still in a lot of pain but will be going to a chiropractor tomorrow and will get x-rays. I have stopped the drinking. That is counterproductive I know.
Sometimes I get really depressed when I get injuries because I can't do any of the activities that I normally do to have fun and relieve stress like cycling and scuba diving. My mental health has suffered lately from this but I just have to get a grip.
Thanks for everyone's concern.
Glad to know you are some better. Take care, and hope the chiro can be of some help.
Robert
I hate them. If you do not feel depressed for more than two weeks,
you probably don't have to be too concerned about it.
I hate those sinking feelings...the kind that make you wonder
how you can even stand up.
Anyway, the good vibes you will be getting from everyone here...
will begin to heal you and make you feel better very soon.
Good Luck!
Right on, Luckskind my friend! Even though the lows can be dreadful, they can always be got through. Keep your chin up, StanleyBey! We're here for you.
If your pain in in your lower back it may be a disk. If so,
find a physical therapist who knows about the Mackenzie Method.
Or get Robin Mackenzie's book "Treat Your Own Back" from a
bookstore. He's helped me countless times.
