Hey man, I just saw your progress pics as of late, and I gotta say, I'm impressed! If this is your hair in the akward stage, then it will most certainly only get better. Or even if you decided to leave it like that, it would be cool too! Anyway, just wanted to complement you on your progress, Cheers.
Hey, Thanks! I'm loving my hair *longer* than short, and I really do feel there's a longhair inside me, I'm not just doing this for the fashion aspect!
Just to update you a little on my progress, no pics this month, but definitely next month, my bangs reach slightly below my bottom lip if I pull my hair straight down my face, nearly touching the top of my chin! When my hair's wet, my hair covers my face, past my nose, and brushes my upper lip. The sides, when pulled straight, are past my chin, and the back, well, I posted a pic of that last week:)
Thanks for the compliments! I really appreciate it!
Oh yea, and I'm not leaving it like this, I'm resisting the urge, for now, to get a trim. A week later, my hair feels much thicker than it was when I took that back pic last week:)
It's normal for hair to thicken up as it gets longer? Right? Sorted's surely did, am I right, Sorted?
How's your shampoo's going, have you found anything that helps your dry hair? - Meant for Sid.
Cya man.
Well, I definitely mean it, so no sweat!
Generally, not getting trims will make your hair seem thicker, as it grows the density increases. I'm pretty certain that with a trim to even it out, it would seem a little less thick, but I think you're fine without a trim for now.
Well I'm looking into Paves Professional Shampoo without sulfates- it's made by the guy who styles a majority of the celebrities in Hollywood's hair, and it's fairly well priced. I also got Suave Milk and Honey Conditioner, which contains Jojoba Oil and NO silicones, so I'll let everyone know how that combination works for me soon enough.
Well it certainly gets bigger & bulkier as it gets longer, particularly if you have wavy hair. Thicker though - well thats a matter of perspective I guess it certainly feels thicker, but the folicles don't thicken with length and your certainly don't get an increase in folicle density.
But you hair does feel thicker and look thicker for sure!
Sorted
Cool, thanks. I think I meant bulkier, rather than thicker. I looked at your 7.5 months pic, and then your most recent pic, and the thickness, or fullness of your hair is astonishing. I was thinking, I'm at 9 months, so If my hair is THIS thick now, it should be much thicker in appearence by the time I get to 19 months or so, right?
Again, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions:)
