Hi guys. I'm planning ahead for Halloween. I already bought a bunny earred headband (with matching tail puff)from eBay but I am not toying with a new idea. What if I be a shorthaired (aka. "normal") man for Halloween!? That'll freak the hell out of my friends, if the wig's realistic enough. Do you guys know where I can get a wig like that? I'd prefer to rent, 'cause it's only one night, after all. Or how much it'd cost? Do you guys have any other ideas? I'm kinda excited.
Love,
Kiat T.
Hey, Kiat. By the way, how do you pronounce your name?
If they have any professional costume shops around where you're at, that might be a good place to start. If you're not that lucky, you could maybe try using strategically placed bobby-pins to make your hair look short. Or put all your hair up in a baseball cap, maybe. I do that all the time to check the progress of my neck hair. It makes you look short haired.
Just some suggestions.

Hi there. Thanks for the info. I don't know about bobby pins. I'm a little afraid of them, maybe 'cause I'm not that great with them yet, but I always feel like I'm going to snag some hair off if I use 'em... Maybe I'll look for a costume shop like you said. Gotta be some in Southern California, right?
And my name's pronounced like the car Fiat, but with a 'K'. Or like the car Kia, but with a 't' in the end. So, basically: 'Key-at'.
Love,
Kiat T.
Hey Kiat, try one of the 'cheap' wigs in those Halloween stores, check out smoe do-it-yorself haircut books from the library. Bobby pins can help to hold it in place and keep you hair under wraps. A hat might not hurt to hide the artificialness of the part.
Now you just have to think of the rest of the costume, i.e.: Business man, Working stiff, Doctor...etc.
Have fun and show the 'before' and 'after' pictures!
