I'm 24 credits away from graduating college. I'm considering possibly going into "money managing" upon graduating(investment banking dealing with the stock market). Would anyone happen to know which investment firms are longhair friendly that don't require a hair cut?? Last summer i was in training at a stock brokerage firm(which is different from "money managing"), but got out of that cause it was waaay to stressful(the job was based on cold calling). This particular firm that i was at wanted me to cut my hair up to my shoulders, but i was able to talk my way out of it using the religion excuse. At least they allowed shoulder length, goes to show ya there's at least some progress of tolerance within the company. I also worked at 2 banks in the past as well(JP Morgan Chase and The Bank of NY), and never had a problem with the hair(which is mid-back length). I worked as a teller. If anyone know's about any investment firms dealing with the stock market that doesn't require you to cut your hair, please let me know. Thanks! And, in case anyone's wondering, no, i wouldn't cut my hair for a job.
