Picture Purged
Well, hi there. I've been lurking for a long time, always listening to the advice from members but never posting anything myself and I finally got the courage to.
I started growing out my hair almost a year ago from half an inch or so. I've only had a few trims since then but now I'm ready to just let it grow until I'm satisfied. I have a recent pic here of myself. I'll provide other angles if you want. Right now, my goal is just chin length but as I've discovered over my growing journey, I constantly make goals and then surpass them lol...so maybe I'll decide to go longer when I reach it?
any comments or advice are greatly appreciated. I feel like you guys are my friends already. Hope to post more soon.
Hi Ender, you have great looking straight hair which is ideal to grow really long with a minimum of hassles. You may want to remove the word "trim" (grin) from your vocabulary and just let it grow for a good year or so. You will probably want to grow your hair past chin length to make it easier to manage. It is your hair and your choice, but if your hair is long enough to fully tie in a ponytail you will probably enjoy it a whole lot more. Best wishes on whatever you decide. Absalom
Thank you very much for the comments and warm welcomes. My handle is actually inspired by a couple of my favorite songs, but now you've piqued my interest. I will check out this person...
Yes, I am grateful every day for my straight hair. It obeys me very well hehe. And after some compliments from my friends, I think I am going to see what it's like to have a comfortable ponytail...then progress from there. Oh, and the word tr*m? already forgotten :)
Man that's awesome hair to grow long. I think that's an interesting style you have there, but if you want it longer, it will be a breeze for you to grow out.
I like that you have it all one length too.
Welcome. Very nice hair.
Smooth and straight: your hair type is probably the easiest to grow long,
withOUT too having much (if any!) trouble from the 'awkward phase.'
As your hair grows longer & longer, you may end up setting
new goals with every 'milestone' you reach.
Good luck on your Journey.
Hey there, great looking hair! I'd say to just let it grow for another year or two before getting any more trims.
BTW, does your handle have anything to do with the author Orson Scott Card?

Welcome, and congratulations on your progress so far. Let's see the back and the side too. It can be very helpful to take regular progress pictures. You've got great hair so I'm going to bet that you won't stop at chin length!
Your hair looks great, but i think you would look better with a really long hair. Like halfway down your back.
