I'm not sure weather I should shave/trim my sideburns. When growing hair long do you normally still shave/trim your sideburns? Its been 10 months now and sometime I like putting my bags around my ear. When I do this I have quiet thick sideburns. It's ok still but just think it would be better if sideburns were less thick.
What do you guys/gals think?
Thanks
Grim
Whilst choice is of paramount importance I think that side burns MUST be neatly trimmed so that they are not starggly or bushy and no longer than the bottom of the ear lobe. Tha looks neat and tidy.
If they are a bit wayward and you wear a tail a lot then fully shaved off at the highest point of the ear looks far better.
I think you should definatly keep trimming your sideburns. If you dont they can look very thick and untidy. So just pull your hair back and get a hair clippers, run it through your sideburns with a #2 guard. You will find it no different from shaving everyday and the end result will be very pleasing.
Good Look
Keep it long and strong

Yea once I get round to it in about 100years time!!!
If you're going to shave them, be careful!
I take mine off (to the top of my ear) every time I shave (every few days). More than once I've had a "whoops, too far!" moment. The end result was actually losing some pretty long hairs by my ear that weren't exactly meant to be sideburn hair.
That said, I have nothing against sideburns, and was in fact letting them grow out with the rest of my hair until one initial shaving accident sparked the whole trimming thing.
If the sideburn hair blends in fairly well and isn't bothering you, forget about it. :)
Thanks Free Advice, I probably will leave it for a while cause its no big deal at all, I know to be extreamly careful now!
Cheers
