Picture Purged
I seem to have reached that stage where my hair is starting to flip up in the back. From reading the board this seems to happen to a lot of guys as they're growing their hair out.
I guess it's just a stage that has to be endured. Are there any tricks involving styling or products that help tame these flips from sticking straight out?
This pic shows it somewhat but a lot of times it is worse than this.
By twisting your comb/brush any "flip-out" can be turned into a "flip-under"
P.S. Do NOT cut/trim to solve problem
In my opinion Stanley, it looks awesome when it starts to flip out!
Dunno why, just do, but I know lots of people here seem to really hate them. Nice to see someone else who likes them.
RM.
...flip, I love them too:)
Part of the "Longhair" attitude that developed for me is:
"Who cares what it looks like. I'm doing it for me, I like it. Flips look good!"
Get more attitude, and the flips will take care of themselves.
I don't know why some of you guys are bothered by flips. I think they look kind of nice. By contrast, I know several women who need to use curlers to achieve a similar style.
